DESCRIPTION OF BETS

Each Player has the option prior to the first card being dealt to wager on either the player hand or the dealer hand (Optional side wagers are discussed below). Players must place a wager on one of the two betting positions, not on both, to begin.

RULES OF PLAY

  1. The dealer will begin by pulling cards from the shoe in the same manner of a normal baccarat game.
  2. The dealer will flip over both player cards and announce the total. The dealer will then flip over both the dealer cards and announce the total.
  3. The dealer will then proceed as follows to complete the hand.
    • If either (or both) hand has a Blackjack, the hand is over (a natural). The hand with the blackjack wins. If both hands have a blackjack it is a push on all primary wagers
    • If neither hand contains a blackjack, the dealer will always act on the player hand first (the following hit rules apply for the total of the initial two card and for the total after every hit card is dealt);
      • If the player hand has a total of 2 – 11 the player hand will always hit
        • If the hand contains an Ace, the Ace will be counted as 1 if the hand total is 6 (16) or less and will be counted as 11 if the hand total is 7 (17) or greater
      • If the player total is 12 – 16 the player will;
        • Hit if the dealer hand has a total of 17 or higher
        • Stand if the dealer hand has a total of 16 or under
      • If the player hand has any 17 or above the player hand will stand.
      • The player can only draw out to 4 cards and then must stand.
      • The dealer will then act on the bank hand as follows;
      • If the bank hand has a total of 2 – 16 the bank hand will always receive a card
      • If the bank hand has a total of any 17 or higher the bank hand will always stand.
      • If player busted, the bank hand will stand.
      • If player has blackjack, the bank hand will stand.
      • The dealer can only draw out to 4 cards and then must stand.
  4. The dealer will then pay and take winning and losing wagers beginning with the player closest to 3rd base and working their way to first base.
  5. NOTE*- In the event of a 3 card 17 dealer win, all bettors who wagered on the dealer will push. This rule is to allow this game to be a commission free game.

OPTIONAL SIDE WAGERS

  • The Frog – if Dealer wins with a three-card 17 the bettor who bet this optional side bet will win 30 to 1 odds.
  • The “Win By” bonus – if a bettor wagered the “win by” bonus before the start of the hand and the player or dealer beat the other (“win by”) by a certain number a bonus will be paid so long as the player and dealer hands have at least three cards. Pushes lose and if the player or dealer have 2 cards in their final hand the wager loses.
    • Examples: Player has a 3 card twenty and dealer has a 4 card 17 (3 point winner). Another example, Player has a 3 card 12 and dealer has a 3 card 19 (7 point winner). This “win by” bonus will pay odds according to the posted paytable.
  • The Tie – if Player and Dealer final hand is a tie, player’s who wagered this get 10 to 1.
